EuroExpoArt 2018 Video

The number of the second edition already described EuroExpoArt such as great event competition grew to unpredictable level to say the least compared to our ambitions. We start from 100 subscribers and 4 special event of 2016, we have moved to 118 competitors and 5 special events, the Tribute to the Mourned Gencay Kasapçi, the Turkish artist that among the years 50 and 60 lived and performed in Italy by joining in that period to “Gruppo Zero”, the amazing and immersive installation of Laura Migotto, Gogna d’Artista, to which decisively has contributed Davide Frisoni, eight stand reserved to the winner of 2016, and now for 2018 edition we have 188 subscribers to the contest 12 special events, the Tribute dedicated to Alba Amoruso, died in 2010, an artist capable of telling the expansion the disease and the decadence of cities with the strength and clear naturalness of those who have traveled in time to come. The foreign presence further established with the growth of Iranians artists, who were on their debut last year.

A further step change there has been also by the large number of artists coming from Turkey with registered groups as well as from Istanbul also from: Izmir, Adana, Mersin, Ankara, Bursa. In particular between the groups it is worth highlighting the “school” represented by the group Atölye Kadıköy Art and the installation exposure of the works of 24 artists of Koridoor Contemporary Art Programs, the project coordinated by the curator Denizhan Özer. Given the strong and constant increase in attention of Turkish artists to EuroExpoArt, awaits us for the years to come additional involvement of institutions and individuals to facilitate their efforts in spreading the culture and contemporary art of Turkey. Many of the subscribers will be personally present to the event, with strong and positive effect on reception facilities in town, that will be closed as usual with the winners’ awarding proclaimed by the jury on the reccommendation of the public. I numeri della seconda edizione già descrivevano EuroExpoArt come un grande concorso evento cresciuto a livelli a dir poco imprevedibili rispetto alle nostre ambizioni. Partiti da 100 iscritti e 4 eventi speciali del 2016 siamo passati a 118 concorrenti 5 eventi speciali, il Tributo alla Compianta Gencay Kasapçi, l’artista turca che tra gli anni 50 e 60 ha vissuto ed operato in Italia aderendo in quel periodo al “Gruppo Zero”, la spettacolare e coinvolgente installazione di Laura Migotto, Gogna d’Artista, cui ha contribuito in modo determinante Davide Frisoni, otto stand riservati ai vincitori del 2016, ed ora per l’edizione 2018 abbiamo ben 188 iscrittiti al concorso 12 eventi speciali, il Tributo dedicato ad Alba Amoruso, deceduta nel 2010, Artista capace di narrare l’espansione la malattia e la decadenza delle città con la forza e la chiara naturalezza di chi ha viaggiato nel tempo a venire.

La presenza straniera si è ulteriormente consolidata con l’incremento della degli artisti iraniani, che erano all’esordio lo scorso anno. Un ulteriore salto di qualità si è avuto anche nella folta presenza di artisti provenienti dalla Turchia con gruppi iscrittiti oltre che da Istanbul anche da: Izmir, Adana, Mersin, Ankara, Bursa. In particolare tra i gruppi va sottolineata la “scuola “ rappresentata dal gruppo Atölye Kadıköy Art e l’esposizione installazione delle opere di 24 artisti di Koridoor Contemporary Art Programs, il progetto coordinato dal curatore Denizhan Özer. Dato il forte e costante aumento dell’attenzione degli artisti turchi ad EuroExpoArt ci attende per gli anni a venire ulteriore coinvolgimento delle istituzioni e dei privati per facilitare il loro sforzo nella diffusione della cultura e dell’arte contemporanea della Turchia.

Molti degli iscritti saranno personalmente presenti alla manifestazione, con forte e positivo impatto sulle strutture ricettive della città, che si chiuderà di consueto con la premiazione dei vincitori proclamati dalla giuria su segnalazione del pubblico.
